I was taken into furness general hospital with a nose bleed, I have never had had a nose bleed in my life, after being admitted to the day ward Mr Siva and a colleague came to see me i was in a lot of distress and was not prepared for what was going to happen to me, Mr Siva calmed me down and told me the procedure they where going to try which I was not very happy with(I was very scared) after the procedure was over I relaxed a little as Mr Siva explained what was happeneing and what could happen. After 3 days the bleeding stopped and I did not have to have an operation (thank goodness) every day Mr Siva came to see me to talk me through certain things and to put my mind at ease even after being moved to ward 4 for one day (my release day) Mr Siva came to see me. Dr Thiru Siva is a very considerate doctor, very helpful and an overall very good doctor who with a patient like me must of had his work cut out for him. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Siva and his colleagues for all the help and support they gave me and also the nursing team who where fantastic aswell.

Dr Siva was incredible from the first meeting. I had been suffering with discomfort of the throat that gradually got worse over 8 weeks, after numerous visits to my GP and visits to A+E with the almost unbearable pain and discomfort of my throat I began to think there would be no end to my condition. After my first visit with Dr Siva I knew I was truly in the best hands. Dr Siva listened to everything I had previously experienced and immediately began action on a remedy. I have the utmost respect, trust and gratitude in not only Dr Siva but all the doctors and nurses at Furness General as they have all gone the extra mile to make my stay as comfortable as they possibly could. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Siva and Furness General as a whole.

Mr Siva made me feel very relaxed, he listened to what my problems were gave me advice and alternative treatments. Thought he was the best E.N.T. Specialist I have seen so far.
